I am a writer and editor based in Washington, DC.
As Editor-in-Chief of Naval History Magazine at the U.S. Naval Institute, I collaborate with authors to tell the stories of sailors and the sea. Previously, I spent five years as a writer and editor at Naval History and Heritage Command, where I authored a monograph on the Boxer Rebellion. A graduate of Rice University, I am also the former Co-Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning student newspaper The Rice Thresher.
